How to surf

I'm not covering it, most surfers don't want you to play their sport. Surfers can be territorial and aggressive, especially for newcomers. I do not allow this behavior, but the instinct is partially justified: a beginner with a sharp surfboard who cannot control with the waves puts everyone at risk. And unlike many other outdoor activities, resources (waves) are limited. All the waves you catch are one less for me. But there is the right way to get involved as a beginner, stay safe, and don't offend people.
